Parag was under the scanner before the SMAT 2023, as he was heavily trolled for his underwhelming batting for Rajasthan Royals during IPL 2023. With this feat for Assam, Parag has now knocked on the selectors’ door for the national side, as after the fifty-over World Cup, the focus would shift to the T20 World Cup scheduled in June 2024.
