Shoaib Akhtar has slammed the rules of regulations in cricket. He said today’s cricket is fraud because two balls are used and a few fielders are allowed outside the 30-yard circle.
“Today’s cricket is fraud. Batters are scoring 30,000 runs with the introduction of two new balls. I respect Sachin Tendulkar, Inzamam-ul-Haq, Mohammad Yousuf and Jacques Kallis because they scored runs with soft balls in 50 overs. Only one ball was used. I am with anyone, who is scoring runs. However, they will come to know if six fielders are placed outside the 30-yard circle,” he said.
The International Cricket Council has completely changed the game in favour of the willow holders. Bowlers are treated like bowling machines.
Former India player Gautam Gambhir also slammed the authorities for their preference to batters.
He commented after bowlers were hammered to all parts of the ground in many games of the ICC World Cup 2023.
