In a heartwarming gesture during the second ODI between Bangladesh and New Zealand, the home captain, Litton Das, called Ish Sodhi back, who was mankaded by pacer Hasan Mahmud.
The incident took place in the 46th over of the Kiwi innings when Sodhi left the crease early. Mahmud was aware and dislodged the bails without completing his run-up.
The veteran Kiwi spinner was heading towards the dressing room when Litton called him back after a discussion with his bowler.
Sodhi hugged Mahmud, which won the hearts of fans. The video of the incident went viral on social media.
