South Africa captain Temba Bavuma is nursing an injury and doesn’t know the extent of it at the moment.
However, he wants to play in the final in front of more than 1 lakh people at the Narendra Modi Stadium on November 19.
However, they will first have to beat Australia in the semi-final on November 16 at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
“I don’t know about the severity of my injury, but we are looking forward to coming back over here (Narendra Modi Stadium) and play in front of more than 1 lakh people. But before that, we must cross a big hurdle in the form of Australia in the semis. The team will discuss about the plans for the upcoming contest from tomorrow and hopefully we can come up with our best performance,” he told Harsha Bhogle.
