During the 41st game of the ODI World Cup between New Zealand and Sri Lanka at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, the crowd passionately chanted Rachin Ravindra’s name as he stepped up to bat during the run chase. Ravindra’s family originally lived in Bengaluru before moving to New Zealand, adding significance to the moment.

“It feels incredibly surreal, and I appreciate the support, especially in Bangalore. The fans chanting my name is something I’ll always cherish. It’s a childhood dream come true. I’m really happy to be here, fortunately, everything fell into place,” he said.
