Rashid Khan is in India for the ICC World Cup 2023. The champion spinner hasn’t been able to perform well, with Afghanistan winning one game against England in Delhi.
He recently met MS Dhoni, who is currently away from cricket and will be back for the Indian Premier League 2024.
Rashid took to X to upload a picture with the former India captain.
“Always a pleasure to meet you Mahi bhai,” he wrote.
Dhoni led Chennai Super Kings to fifth IPL title in 2023. Tbe Men in Yellow defeated Gujarat Titans in the final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Meanwhile, Rashid was frustrated with his teammates for their poor fielding in the last contest against New Zealand in Chennai.
