South Africa had another easy outing in the ICC World Cup 2023. They registered their first win over New Zealand in 24 years in a World Cup game. With 190-run victory, the Proteas almost booked their place in the semi-finals.

Tom Latham won the toss and invited South Africa to bat first, a move that back-fired.

Quinton de Kock slammed his fourth hundred (114), while Rassie van der Dussen (133) came up with his second ton in the tournament.

David Miller (53) gave the final touches as South Africa put up 357/4 in 50 overs.

The Kiwi batters struggled from the start and the team was bowled out for 167 runs. Keshav Maharaj took four wickets for the winning team.
