Chennai Super Kings (CSK) won their fifth Indian Premier League (IPL) title after defeating Gujarat Titans (GT) by five wickets in the final at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
It was remarkable comeback by CSK, who finished 9th in the 15th season of the tournament. Chasing a revised target of 171 in 15 overs, Chennai batters contributed in their side’s triumph.
The players, coaching staff and family members rushed to the field to celebrate the moment. Captain MS Dhoni was talking to players and support staff before he was called to take the trophy.
Meanwhile, Sakshi asked MSD to leave the trophy and hug her. Mahi followed the instructions and the cute video went viral on social media.
