Virat Kohli and Chris Gayle share a close bond since the two started playing together for Royal Challengers Bangalore. Gayle was associated with RCB for years and won several matches along with Kohli.
The two scripted several records for the Bangalore-based franchise in the Indian Premier League. Virat and Gayle have always admired each other for their on-field performances.
With the 34-year-old currently in West Indies for the Test series, he is looking forward to meet his old pal. In his interview with Star Sports, Kohli opened up on his relationship with Universe Boss.
“Chris Gayle is humble and he always invites the team to his place when I am in Jamaica. Everyone loves him and if he is in the town then we will definitely meet,” he said.
Gayle doesn’t play in the cash-rich league. He last turned up for Punjab Kings but was not among the runs.
