Michael Vaughan wants to see India taking on Pakistan in the semi-final of the ICC World Cup 2023. He has been talking about the big clash since the last few days.
Although, India have qualified for the semis, Pakistan are still in danger of getting eliminated if they don’t beat England in their last league game.
Pakistan also need a favour from Sri Lank, who will play against New Zealand in Bengaluru. If the Kiwis manage to beat the Island Nation, the situation will become difficult for the Babar Azam-led team.
The scenario would have been more complex for Pakistan and New Zealand had Afghanistan thumped Australia in the last game.
It was down to Glenn Maxwell’s individual brilliance to take the Aussies to the semis and keep the other two teams in fray.
Reacting to Australia’s sensational victory over the sub-continent nation, Michael was delighted.

South Africa and Australia are certain to clash in the knock-outs.
